This policy explains what information Vibeverse Games (“we”, “us”) collects when you play our mobile games (SynthGate, Orbit Jam and Iceventures, on iOS and Android) or visit vibeverse.games, why, and what choices you have. We keep it short because we collect as little as we can.
The short version
- You don’t need an account to play, and we never ask for your name, email or phone number in our games.
- Your progress and settings are stored on your device.
- Free games may show ads. Personalised ads only run if you agree to them, and you can change your mind.
- We don’t sell your personal information.
Information we collect
In our games
- Game progress and settings, such as levels, scores and preferences. These stay on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the game.
- Leaderboards. When a game has online leaderboards, it creates an anonymous player ID tied to your device through Epic Online Services, and stores your scores with a display name. No sign-in is needed.
- Advertising data. Games that show ads use AppLovin MAX, which may collect your device’s advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), IP address, device model, operating system, language and how you interact with ads, to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud.
- Diagnostics. Apple and Google may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with us if you have allowed this in your device settings.
Camera, microphone and photos
Orbit Jam has an optional “Capture the reaction” feature that films your reaction and records your voice while you play, so you can save and share a video of your flight. It only works if you turn it on and give permission. The recording is made on your device and saved to your photo library; we never receive it. Nothing is shared unless you share it yourself.
On this website
When you use our contact form we receive your name, email address and message, and use them only to reply to you. The form is delivered to our inbox by our email provider, Resend. When you join the launch list on our coming soon page, we keep your email address with Resend and use it only to email you when we launch; every email has an unsubscribe link. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data (such as IP address) to serve and protect it. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies on this site.
How we use it
- To run the games and keep your progress, scores and settings.
- To show leaderboards.
- To show ads that keep our games free, and to measure them.
- To fix bugs and improve our games.
- To answer your messages, and to email you when we launch if you asked us to.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for personalised advertising, the camera and microphone and the launch list, and on our legitimate interest in running, securing and improving our games and site for everything else.
Your choices
- Personalised ads. The first time you open a game with ads, it asks for your consent (and, on iOS, Apple’s permission to track). You can say no and still play; you’ll see ads that aren’t personalised. You can change this later in your device settings: on iOS under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, on Android under Settings › Privacy › Ads.
- Camera, microphone and photos can be turned off at any time in your device settings.
- Delete your data. Uninstalling a game deletes what it stored on your device. To have your leaderboard entries removed, email us.
Who we share it with
We only share information with the service providers that help us run our games and site, under their own privacy terms:
- AppLovin (advertising): applovin.com/privacy
- Epic Games (Epic Online Services, leaderboards): epicgames.com/site/privacypolicy
- Apple and Google (app stores, purchases and diagnostics)
- Cloudflare (website hosting) and Resend (contact form and launch list email)
Some of these providers are outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, the transfer is protected by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Leaderboard entries are kept while the leaderboard runs. Messages you send us are kept for as long as we need them to help you, and at most two years. Launch list addresses are deleted once the launch email has gone out. Advertising data is kept by AppLovin according to its own policy.
Children
Our games are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California), you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, object to or limit how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we’ll answer within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we’ll let you know in our games.
